just recently before the nativity play, i went to kk with a group of church friends to attend the Planet Shakers Conference.. it was a BLAST! we spent about 5 days there and stayed in an apartment.. really nice and cozy just beside the sea... the conference was held in the Magellan Hotel.. so we had to take the shuttle to the hotel everyday.. the whole conference was actually for 3 days, so for 3 days we had to use the shuttle to the hotel.. and in one day, we probably visited the Centrepoint shopping centre like abt 3 time min.! basically, that place is where we get our food and other stuff.. it was abt 5-10 minutes walk from where we stayed.. but the last time i went there with my family, someone commited suicide! how scary is that.. the man, quite plump, jumped from the top floor and landed on his back at the bottom... we were in the building when it happened but we didnt actually witness it.. *shivers* :P anyways.. abt the conference, PLANET SHAKERS ROCK!!!!!! they played live and the music was soooooo good! they actually taught us a new song that hasn't been released yet... its called 'All Majesty'.. very nice song.. then we had sessions where the various pastors would come and preach.. really good.. the funniest one and most energetic one was Reggie D.. (i forgot how to spell his last name.. :p) he's from america and super funny! hehe.. it was such an experience to watch them live in concert together with more than 2000 ppl in that ballroom.. yeah.. more than 2000 kk locals.. we had to que up to get in everyday as it was free-seating.. it was sooo crowded but all worth it.. it was really a memorable trip.. oh yea.. and, as u all know me, i just had to bring my hair-dryer along and when i tried to plug it in and switch it on, the whole apartment(just ours) blacked-out! how embarrassing! then the guys did stuff to try and figure out how i could use the dryer without causing a black-out.. i didnt wanna trouble them anymore so eventually, we gave up... so i had to take the headaches because i get them if i dont dry my hair.. haha.. but on the last day of the conference, i finally tried pluggin it in the refrigerator socket, and it worked! oh the joy of it... :) all in all, the whole trip was a blast and it was sad to leave.. but hopefully, i'll get to re-experience it someday.. o=) anyways.. here are some pics from the trip..

i went out just now to collect season 2 of o.C. with my sis and we went to buy some ice-cream... then when we got back, i found a cute little frog! haha... i caught it and took some pics of it... and here's one of `em!...

oh yea... i forgot to mention my trip to china! beijing to be specific.. since i'm waiting here for the pics to upload, i might as well go on telling bout my trip.. :P so we went to Singapore first for a couple of days and we went shopping.. fun fun fun! then we set off for beijing.. the flight there was actually nice.. i loved the plane (we flew via sq) coz we watched movies i never got to watch b4.. my unc signed up for a private tour thing so we got to c some of the sights that beijing is famous for.. like the great wall and the forbidden city.. we went to them all and it was fun! nice experience but not for shoppers.. coz if u wanted to go to china for shopping, then i suggest shang hai would be a better place.. but if u love to c all those historic stuff, then beijing's the place for u! :P so we spent about 10 days there (long time, huh!) and went back to singapore for a couple more days and then b4 i knew it, i was back in brunei... how sad.. anyways.. so i guess those are the 3 places i went to this year.. (kk, china and s'pore).. somehow right now, i regret not signing up for the mission trip.. would have been fun.. but oh well... there's always next year and the year after that! i'll post up some pics another time coz this istaking areal long time to load and i'm getting real bored... so.. till the next post... c yaz!

ok.. so i havent been blogging for a long time... blame it on exams! and i've been waiting so long to post pics up so u wont actually get bored just reading abt my crap.. so.. i've been doing alot lately.. haven't actually got the chance to bum around the house.. first of all, after the exams, i got involved with the nativity play so there goes the whole month of november for me.. it was really fun as i got to play the role of a princess and i did what i love doing best.. singing and acting! haha.. this is the first major role i've gotten in many years.. for some of u guys who don't know me, i've actually played some major roles for the speech day thing when i was wayy younger... come to think of it, i've been performing my whole life in sas! ain't dat cool.. so anyways... i got to dress up like an arabian princess and my sis did my make-up for me... somehow on that day i didnt really feel nervous so i think i did a pretty good job.. i feel happy bout it.. coz usually, when i have to perform, i get so nervous that my insides start to shake and so it affects my singing.. sux... that's the thing i hate when it comes to performing.. anyways.. here's a pic of me, chloe, hsien heuy and aaron after the show..
