today was a beautiful day.. why? coz it's the first time i experienced morning fog! haha.. take a look at the view from my apartment balcony..
and when i walked out, it was sooo chilly! and also, when i breathed out, there was mist!!!! first time experience!!! hahaha.. *sakai muchhh*
i've been so busy with assignments lately that i just couldnt be bothered to blog.. but then i just finished one big assignment, so yeay! i'm more free now... also, i have one more week of uni, and after that, EXAM TIME!! my first paper starts on the 17th and ends on the 24th.. i only have 3 papers.. thank goodness.. so i'll have some time to study after uni ends..
my mum came over about 2 weeks ago.. will be staying till the end of june.. have to share the bed with her.. haha.. there's no living room in my apartment coz it was converted into another room, so the main 'hang-out' place is in my room... booo... oh oh and guess wat came in the mail the other day??!!!! a piano!!!!! yes that's right... one of those digital ones.. not like a keyboard, but more like a down-sized upright piano... i saw it online for sale, for HALF the price! RRP is AU$899 and i paid $399 for it!! i'm so happy.. now my fingers dont itch anymore.. hehe... and my bro's been using it as well, so atleast it's gonna be well used! i'll probably sell it off when i finish uni..
oh and i'm not sure if u guys watch food channels much, but do u know one of the shows where jamie oliver recruits under-privileged kids to train to become chefs? well, he opened that restaurant here in melbourne! and yes, it's on TV!!!
as u can see, the restaurant's called Fifteen.. havent eaten there yet, but will be going there one day coz my mum's a fan on the show! cant wait.. hehe..
on another note, i think God struck me with a bit of inspiration last night.. while i was trying to sleep, a christmas play started to form in my mind... haha... weird rite? so i was thinking, mayb i could be incharge of this year's christmas play in church back in brunei! i kind of got out of bed to write down part of the script.. lol.. was too scared i'd feel uninspired the next day and lose my ideas.. so funny, i've never had this experience before.. i'm not gonna tell u any of it yet.. haha.. u gotta come to the christmas mass in church if u wanna see it.. ;)

#1 procrastinator here!! daym.. one bad characteristic about me is that i just cant stop procrastinating! i had this assignment to do for 2 weeks, and on the first week, i told myself that i'll do it the next week.. when the second week came, i procrastinate EVERYDAY till the due day... which was friday... i kept sitting myself down infront of the cp with microsoft word opened infront of me.. and somehow, i'd just find some distraction, and before i know it, it's time to sleep.. haha... but then when friday came ( i decided to skip the morning tutorial coz it was abt giving presentations.. -_-" ) my classmate told me that i could hand it in the following monday (which is in 2 days time).. so, for the whole afternoon, i kept telling myself that i should just do it and get it over with... come dinner time, i left my room to make something i thought of doing for quite a while.. i must say, both my bro and i enjoyed dinner very much last nite.. hehe.. ANYWAYS, back to the topic, long story short, i didnt do ANYTHING yesterday.. so, for the whole of today, i sat myself down infront of the cp (again) and TRIED to atleast write up some stuff.. hehe.. i'm about 1/4 thru already.. (and it's already night time).. :p sooooo, i'm guessing i'll have to spend a bit more time tomorrow finishing up this stupid assignment ( about HOW i did my research).. i've got another one coming up next week.. -_-" this one has even more to write on.. GAHHHHH~~~~
u didnt think i'd stop without telling u wat i cooked last nite now, did u? haha.. it was delicious! basically, a few days ago, i looked around the food cupboards and fridge to look at wat food we had.. i saw some pasta bake sauce, potatoes and mushrooms that needed to be eaten soon, or they'll go rotton.. so, i decided to bake something using those ingredients.. i used my 3 most favourite ingredients of all: butter, cheese and garlic! haha.. well, i boiled the potatoes first, and while waiting, fried the mushrooms and garlic with butter (oh-so-good), then i decided to add some ham to it.. after the potatoes were boiled, i threw in some chopped carrots to soften them up just a bit.. i then put the potatoes in the baking dish and mashed them with butter and milk.. i like my mash slightly creamy and NOT chunky/dry.. so yea.. then i remembered that i had a bunch of fresh rosemary in the fridge, and decided to throw that into the frying pan with the mushrooms and ham.. then, i mixed the pasta-bake sauce with the mash, and threw in everything else.. hehe.. i added black pepper, and then LoTS of cheese on top!! (a mix of cheddar and mozarella!!) with that done, i popped it in the oven and watched the cheese melt into perfection.. :D when it was ready, i sprinkled parsley flakes on top of the whole thing, and VOILA! easy, simple and delicious!

i FINALLY mastered the art of putting false lashes on!! yeayyyy... u see the pic on the bottom-left corner?? it's my own eye!! hehehee... this is my 3rd time using falsies.. and these lashes were from brunei.. they're just abt $1 something only! they're awesome.. haha.. i added some effects and the butterflies to the pic.. and if u look closer, i added the swerl-effect to the pupils.. :p make-up was done all by myself as well... and no, i didnt do all this just for fun... i had an 'occasion' to go to.. haha.. i'll probably blog abt it in abt a month's time when the pics come out.. :D
